Getting good press doesn't have to be a mystery! This class will teach you what makes a compelling news story, how to handle a call from a reporter, and why you should never use the words: no comment.

No technology is needed. Come with your questions about working with the media and any story ideas you want to workshop. 

This class will be taught by Leah Almeling, Corporate Communications Manager at Toyota

From the New York Times and Good Morning America to FOX 2 and the Lincoln County Journal, Leah knows how to work with reporters of all types. She currently oversees corporate communications for four Toyota manufacturing plants. Previously, she managed crisis communications for the tech start-up Rover.com and led media relations strategies for her clients at the PR agency Allison+Partners.
