F3, inc is seeking an Environmental Professional (EP per ASTM 1527-13)

Conducts Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs)

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Interviews property contacts, municipal agencies, vendors and other persons familiar with the subject property to gather

information relevant to completion of ASTM 1527-13 ESA, or client specific scope of work. Independently researches municipal

records, local, state and federal resources and files relevant to the subject property. Conducts walk-through surveys to assess

environmental issues considered to be Recognized Environmental Concerns (REC). Gathers and analyzes samples needed to

identify issues which may require remediation. Prepares written reports summarizing findings, explaining and quantifying effects

and proposing recommendations. Addresses client questions and comments regarding the report. Performs other duties as

assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to

coworkers. May coordinate and assign tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Bachelors Degree from four-year college or university with major in engineering, geology or science required. Minimum of 3 years’

experience completing or managing Phase I ESAs. Experience in lieu of these qualifications may be considered if they meet our

client’s requirements of experience.

Experience as an asbestos, lead-based paint, radon or mold inspector preferred.

CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES

CEP (Certified Environmental Professional). Licensed Professional Engineer, Professional Geologist a plus

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely,

reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.

FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE

Requires basic knowledge of financial terms and principles.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires

intermediate analytical and quantitative skills in order to assess impact of property condition. Ability to work on multiple projects

concurrently.

OTHER SKILLS And ABILITIES

Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office. Familiar with the basic principles of civil, structural, and geotechnical engineering,

including construction and maintenance of structures and systems.

The location for the full time salary position is in our Troy, MO office. Applicants can also request to work as Per Project Employees from
