Peoples Bank & Trust Co. has an opening for a FT Operations Clerk/CSR at our Troy, MO location. Please see the below job description for duties and responsibilities. Hours for this position are listed below. Please note, this position does require working every 4th weekend.

STATUS: Non-Exempt

SKILLS REQUIRED: Basic knowledge and ability to operate a variety of office

equipment. Office administration and computer, Word, and Excel. Excellent

organizational skills. Effective communication and customer service skills.

Knowledgeable of banking principles and policies. Ability to maintain confidentiality

always is critical. Ability to multi-task, work independently, prioritize and problem solve.

JOB SUMMARY: Provide prompt, efficient and friendly service to customers, as well as

recognizing the customers’ needs with appropriate suggestions concerning Bank



Weeks without weekend rotation
Monday--Friday     8:00 am - 4:00 pm

Weeks with weekend rotation
Monday--Thursday    8:00 am - 3:30 pm
Friday                            8:00 am - 6:00 pm
Saturday                        8:15 am - noon

Schedules are subject to change depending on the needs of the bank. 


1. Wires – Serve as a contact for wire requests, processing, Enter/Verify outgoing

wire transfers; perform daily balancing and report balancing; process outgoing

and incoming wire transfers; assist in solving customer problems; perform

research and maintenance.

2. Providing customer service/support as needed to resolve issues to customer and

PBT satisfaction.

3. Audit outgoing wires for initials and other required information and file. Audit

recurring templates for documentation/signatures on a quarterly basis.

4. Knowledgeable of banking laws and regulations and Bank policies and

procedures, including BSA.

5. Checking and processing incoming faxes to various departments

6. Document management scanning, as needed

7. Cross-train various positions to backup other operations personnel, including but

not limited to Investments, GL posting/balancing, entering GL descriptions,

checking non-post account and other GL account balancing, etc.

8. BACKUP – Receptionist answering phones.

9. Perform additional assignments as directed/assigned.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Requires a high school education or equivalent work

experience that demonstrates the ability to read, write, interpret, and apply instructions

to perform the required activities.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Manual dexterity required. Valid Driver’s license. Ability

to sit, stand, bend, some light lifting. Must be able to operate office machine and

lift/carry trays of mail, etc.
