PRIMARY FUNCTION: The School Social Worker conducts and facilitates assessments, consultations, interventions related to the social, emotional, behavioral needs of students and works as a liaison between school, families and community agencies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or similar field, required
• Current clinical licensure in the state of Missouri as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker: LCSW, preferred
• Ability to travel as needed within the school district boundaries, to provide home visits, and to assist buildings in triaging student and family needs.
• A record of successful collaborating and consulting with other personnel
• Effective oral and written communication skills
