Basic Functions and Responsibilities:

The Court Clerk position is advanced work using an electronic filing system in a court within the

Missouri State Court System.


Work involves responsibility for court case processing which may require the application of

independent judgment and the application of statutes, policies and regulations, with minimal

supervision. Work requires frequent interaction with the public providing exceptional customer

service. Work may also involve financial record keeping within an automated case management

system, providing direct support for a circuit judge or associate circuit judge providing a full

range of responsibilities within the division’s jurisdiction. Work requires ability to work well with

other co-employees.


If hired, the pay is $35,136.24. Upon successfully completion of a six-month probationary

period, employee may be eligible for a one-step pay increase.


For the year 2024 there are 13 paid holidays.


We are on a one pay period lag payroll system paying twice a month; hours worked from the 1st

through the 15th will be paid on the last working day of the month; hours worked form the 16th

through the last day of the month will be paid on the 15th of the following month.


Semi-monthly vacation accrual for full-time employees are based on years of service. Your first

nine years of employment you earn five hours per paid period (3 weeks annually) a maximum of

240 hours. Semi-monthly sick leave accrual for full-time employees earn five hours per pay

period.
